No Shame

Last week, I went away on vacation. I was on a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas, just a short getaway for me and the better half before she starts school up again. One thing that caught my eye on our vacation is how people have no shame. Let me preface this by saying, I can't stand how society sells unhealthy images of what less than 1% looks like into the main stream. However, people have to realize that not everything is for everyone.

The itsey bitsy teenie weenie bikini might be okay for some, but it isn't recommended for most. On my vacation too many women were wearing things that were inappropriate for their age, size or shape. If you have a bathing suit that's two years old and it doesn't fit you anymore, it's time to get a new one. If your gut is hanging out, you might want to get a one piece or a tankini or something else to cover up a little.

A little common sense goes a long way, of course I am probably giving too much credit to people. Just because something is in fashion, doesn't mean it's meant for everyone. And if you are going to hang out in the sun, especially in the Caribbean, 2 simple words - Sun Block.
